WRITERS

Send the story when the desk is open

A submission is a request to be considered — not an acceptance, a commission, or a promise of notes.

One gate, clear shape

Projects arrive through an open call on this site — not by email or direct message.

The private desk is not taking files yet. The six-chapter submission shape is fixed so writers can read the path before the door opens.

What you will see

Reference, project, stage, messages Beckett chooses to send, requested documents, and uploaded versions.

Internal editorial notes stay internal unless Beckett publishes one to you. A decline is a possible ending. Silence is possible until there is something to say.

Stages on the line

Submitted → initial review → editorial review → consideration → development. Not every project completes the line.

  4. 04

    Your rights

What you hold, and what a platform record does not do.

Read the submission back before it is sent.

  6. 06

    Submit

An identifier such as BKT-2026-000127, a version, and a time.
